THE FOUNDATION

The journey began in the year 1970, when Mr. Chandra Sekhar Nangunuri had to take on the responsibilities of his family at a tender age of just 11 years due to unavoidable circumstances. He had to join the family business, a small provisions store, in Malakpet which was reputed and established in that area. With his zeal and enthusiasm to achieve and stand out in the market, he not only made sure the goodwill was maintained but with his marketing and sales Ideas, He increased the customer base and also the turnover of the business. His capabilities at such a young age were such, that by the age of 17 he won a Gold Medal for the best in Sales category from Sri. N.T.Rama Rao for being the highest in volume and turnover for selling Sekhar Soaps.

Mr. Chandra Sekhar Nangunuri envisioned the need to cater and position himself in the fast growing field of Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances, and with his sheer determination and passion to enter the Retail domain and take his journey to the next level, he established “Tirumala Music Centre” (TMC) in the year 1981 with his very modest savings of Rs. 10,000, which he used a capital to purchase his 1st Music System.

He started the business by setting up a recording centre to sell cassettes and TV Antenna’s. It all started from there and nothing could stop his determination to establish a shop which could cater to the complete range of Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances. He stood the test of time by being Innovative and ensured Electronics became affordable through EMI options for the consumers through his extraordinary sales and marketing ideas. At a time when buying a Television was an extreme luxury, Mr. Chandra Sekhar did everything in his capacity to reach out to many Financial Institutions and associating them with different manufacturers to create affordable installment schemes to suit the consumers.

He was a visionary, and to ensure he reached out to his customers across the entire state of the then united Andhra Pradesh, he personally took up the responsibility of reaching out to different Private organisations, state and Central government institutions to establish a connect. He conducted several exhibitions to showcase and ensure the customers new about the affordable finance schemes. In spite of the tough competition he was facing, with his hard work and extraordinary determination he was successful in establishing a personal connect with several Institutions and reached out to many customer and increased the turnover of the Electronics business multifold.

In spite of not having the required education, he was extremely talented and gained a practical insight. With his practical learning capabilities and extremely customer focused business process, he achieved several awards for Best in Sales and Service category from many leading Electronics and Home Appliances Manufacturing brands.

As a man who won many awards for his exclusive and creative sales and marketing ideas, he reached the hearts of over 10 lakh customers by providing them with the best after sales service and the required support to ensure trust and most importantly his aim and principle to have a “Customer for Life” attitude.

In the year 1990, the late Sri. Amarnath Nangunuri, his younger brother joined the business to help and support him with the overall running of the company “Tirumala Music Centre”, (TMC).

This gave him the required scope and time to take his vision forward of establishing a Group. He envisioned a great future for Real Estate and Finance industry and accordingly through his strong determination and the zeal, he established the following:

  • a) Tirumala Constructions a partnership firm in the year 1990.
  • b) Tirumala Homes Pvt Ltd in the year 1998 and
  • c) Tirumala Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd in the year 1998.

THE COMPANY

Tirumala Homes Pvt Ltd was established in the year 1998 after successfully executing several Residential and Commercial projects in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam under the brand name “Tirumala Constructions” which was a partnership firm.

As an Inspiring leader, who believes in constantly learning, he established Tirumala Homes Pvt Ltd with his unique vision and deep insights into the realty sector. Mr. Chandra Sekhar is a man with an astute acumen, who can indentify opportunities and also has the courage to travel the untraveled paths. His passion and dedication has seen the company grow in reputation and size. The Company is known for delivering several large prestigious commercial and residential projects in Hyderabad and Vizag.

Being a people’s man, he has built a strong and dedicated workforce which work relentlessly to realize the goals of the organization.

Mr. Chandra Sekhar always believed in giving back to the society and actively contributes to several organizations in the field of Education, Art and Culture and Old Age Homes.

Some of the Landmark Projects Developed by Tirumala Homes are:



1. Tirumala Towers, Malakpet, Hyderabad:

Spread across 5 floors with 2 levels of parking, the building is a 70,000 sft Commercial property on the main road of Malakpet. It houses some of the prestigious companies like LIC, New India Assurance, Bank of India, Bluedart, etc.


2. Tirumala Classic, West Marredpally, Hyderabad:

The Building was designed by an architecture firm from Delhi. We wanted to develop a very exclusive and contemporary style of Residential Project in Hyderabad and accordingly executed with the help of a very hi-tech architecture firm having a wide experience in Residential Apartment projects. The Apartment has a very exclusive drive way for cars on par with Hotel Lobbies and a Terrace garden on the 3rd floor which is open to sky. The Building has 16 flats spread across ground plus 5 floors with 20000 sft of construction.


3. Tirumala Gardens, Road no.1, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad:

Spread across Ground plus 5 floors, the Residential Apartment has 22 flats with an area of 50,000 sft approximately. The Apartment stands out even today, because of the Quality and elevation. We designed the project with Independent flats, 3 levels of landscaping which is spread across 12000sft and plenty of natural ventilation.


4. Tirumala Alluri Niwas, Malakpet, Hyderabad.

This is a Ground plus 5 Residential Apartment building, with 22 flats and 27000 sft of construction. We maintained the Deluxe quality and ensured affordable pricing to suit the local requirements.


5. Tirumala Shravani Apartments, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad.

Spread across Ground plus 5 floors, with 30 2 and 3 bedroom deluxe flats, we constructed a 27000 sft building with independent flats, i.e. no common walls.


6. Tirumala Shah Residency, Ameerpet, Hyderbad.

The Apartment is spread across 3 blocks, with all independent flats. Spread across, 2 levels for parking, Ground plus 7 floors, we made 42 spacious flats with good natural ventilation. The Building stands out today for its Quality and Elevation and houses a mix of commercial offices and Residential Homes. We constructed an area of 84000 sft.


7. Tirumala Ramaleela Residency, Alkapuri, Hyderabad.

Spread across Cellar, Ground plus 5 floors, we developed 15 Deluxe Independent flats in a 24000 sft building.


8. Tirumala Shivpuri Colony, Sainikpuri, Hyderabad:

This is a HMDA and GHMC Approved Residential Layout spread across 12.20 acers. The layout has been designed and developed to accommodate 130 plots of 227 sq yds to house Independent Villas and about 7500 sq.yds earmarked for developing Apartments. We gave a lot of importance to Green and open spaces and accordingly created 6 parks and planted over 2000 trees within the layout.


9. Tirumala Venkata Sai Heights, Boduppal, Hyderabad.

Located in the Pocharam IT corridor, and very close to the Uppal Metro, the building is spread across Cellar, ground plus 5 floors with 40 deluxe 2 and 3 BHK flats. All are Independent flats with plenty of ventilation from all four sides. The project is just 2 minutes walking distance from the Uppal, Warangal Highway and is in close proximity to Public transport, Educational Institutions, Hospitals and many retail establishment.
